Black Earth Children's Museum and the communities that support it have started a movement!

Our area community has demonstrated that resources and activities in smaller, rural areas can not only survive but thrive!

We hope to foster the growth of  connected communities where  people have access to both essential and enriching services while also feeling a sense of place and belonging.

Please consider supporting the movement as we raise money to expand our exhibits   and programs - re-emerging stronger  than before!

My 5 &2 yr old kids enjoyed the engaging exhibits for about 90 minutes. Wonderful details and beautifully crafted.
Feels like a good value for $6 each.
But as others noted a bit more space in each exhibit would be great. Overall the space was clean and staff was welcoming- we will be back!
Took my 17 month old here and he loved it. So much for toddlers here compared to most children’s museums. A lot of different exhibits that are fun for multiple ages. The toy library is fantastic. The staff were very friendly.
Lots of brain stimulating activities for the smaller building size of other children's museums in this part of Wisconsin. I would say this is probably the best out of them all. Everything feels safe for children and it's not as stressful as some of the other places. There is even a soft play area for babies that we noticed when taking our eleven month old. The constellation room is really neat for children that have never had a chance to see a planetarium. If you are stopping through Black Earth, do yourself a favor and take the kiddos here, they will sleep the rest of the drive.
