Face Painting with Dawn
Let your imagination run wild as Dawn transforms you into your favorite animal! Free and all ages.

Saturday, April 19 th– 9 am -2 PM
Financial Literacy Event​​
Free admission, free coloring books, free books, and lots of activities to enjoy. There will be a reading of Deena’s Lucky Penny– and we will have free copies of the book on hand to give away. There will be face painting from 11-2, a giant coin scavenger hunt, and an entire museum of Big Fun!

We Dig Earth Day

Come celebrate Earth Day with us and learn ways we can make our world a happier, healthier place to live. We will provide materials so you can plant a seed to take home and watch it grow!
Starting at 10:30 we will also be having a composting presentation from the Community Food Systems Educator with UW -Madison Extension. You can have a chance to start your own compost to take home! Let’s get involved and learn how composting reduces waste, protects the climate and improves soil health."

5:30 – 6:30 pm
Enjoy a free night at the museum while listening to an exciting music-driven show that makes learning fun.
Please join us for a high energy performance with Mr. Nicky from 5:30 to 6:30 pm for this free event. Mr. Nicky is an accomplished songwriter and certified teacher bringing a fresh approach to learning through parody songs. His songs are enjoyed by all ages from “Earthworm” to “Ancient Mesopotamia”. Families will also enjoy access to the museum and the over 50 hand-made exhibits we have to offer.

Trash Lab
Housed in a fully accessible, 27-foot-long repurposed cargo trailer, Trash Lab features more than 10 playful interactive stations, engaging stories, and a wealth of data, along with compelling photography and video footage. Come out and explore!
