We offer specific time slots for 2-hr private parties. The fee for a private party is $250 for up to 150 guests (which is our maximum capacity). Reserve your private party online!

Our party slots book up very fast. We are booking 2 –3 months out. Reserve your spot as soon as you can. Booking online allows you to see the available slots and reserve your choice as efficiently as possible.

7 steps to book your amazing museum party:

Click Book Now which will take you to the calendar of dates available.

Choose your date. Red dots under the date indicate available time slots. If you choose a date that is already taken, you will be directed to check another time slot.

Fill out all the information and make your choice of options.

You can pay online or in person.

After you book online, you will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us immediately by email or phone. operations@blackearthchildrensmuseum.org

A note about parking
The street next to the Museum is one way. We have had some issues with visitors parking the wrong way on that street. Tickets will be issued. Please ensure that you and your party park legally and avoid an unpleasant end to a very fun party.

This place was great! My kids are 5, 2, and 11 months and the Children's Museum had something for each one of them! The museum has a good mix of educational and exercise oriented activities and was well priced for the experiences available.
My daughters (1 and 5) love it here! It's a great mood of activities without being too large - I feel totally comfortable letting the 5yo go of by herself while baby sis plays in the toddler space. Also, Evie recently took part in an art class offered in the upstairs studio - she had a blast and was so proud of the piece she created!
My 3 kids age 7,6,4 and I all had a wonderful time at the Black Earth Children’s Museum over winter break! Great membership price, as well as a great local business. The kids kept entertained and did not want to leave and I felt safer not having to keep my eye on each one of them every single minute. It’s smaller but it’s worth the trip out to Black Earth!
