2-4 years old- picture-based story
Theme- Favorite part of the holidays or A story about a snowman

5-6 years old- 25 words or fewer
Theme- What do you like to do during the holidays?

7-8 years old- 100 words or fewer
Theme- What does “winter” mean to you?
Deadline: 5 pm, December 21, 2025
Rules: Only original work. Only 1 submission per person. Parents can offer suggestions but please do not submit your work. Submissions must be delivered to the museum by the deadline. Artwork can be included, but does not replace word count. Every submission must include the contact information for a parent/guardian.

Reviewing: Creativity and imagination. Effort, not perfection. Age-appropriate expressions.
Winners: Submissions will be displayed in the museum and posted on BECM’s website, newsletter, and social media.
