The museum is reopening on June 21! 

Reservations are required to ensure we stay within our 25% (starting with this as we ease back in) capacity limit. 

Masks are required for guests age 5 and older; optional for younger guests. 

Timed entry tickets (1.5-hr time slot) can be reserved in advance. If you have questions, please call us at 608-888-2017

  • $6 per person for non-members (children & adults)

Museum Hours:

Monday: 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday: 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday: 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Thursday: 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Friday: 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Saturday: 11:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

Sunday: 12:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.


Guest Health & Safety

Currently, food & drink are not allowed inside. We are making our outdoor covered patio behind the building available to those who need to eat or drink. 

The museum follows Dane County Public Health guidelines - policies are subject to change. Masks are required for guests age 5 and older. If you are exhibiting any symptoms of illness, please stay home. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the museum. Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth and please do your best to cough or sneeze into your elbow.  


Staff will wear face masks at all times while in the museum and will follow best practices for handwashing. Staff frequently clean high-touch surfaces. 

Closure Policy

The museum will close for inclement weather. All closures are determined by museum leadership for the safety of our guests and staff. ​
